We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Fouad Kasti as the Coordinator of the Civil Engineering Department. Dr. Kasti was awarded his Master of Science and PhD in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Kasti joins PU with rich academic and industrial experiences in various aspects of structural engineering, including composite segmental bridge design, analysis, and software development and the design and retrofit of special structures (e.g., high-rise buildings, hospitals, schools, earth and concrete dams, and long-span bridges).
With her 13-year IBM professional experience, IEEE senior affiliation, and expertise in the areas of high performance and distributed computing; software-hardware co-design; software engineering; and operating systems, Dr. Mageda Sharafeddin joins PU as the Coordinator of the Computer Science Department. We cordially welcome Dr. Sharafeddin aboard!

Dr. Magnier joins PU with rich national and international academic and industrial experiences in the oil and gas industry and across other fields (e.g., environment and pollution, waste management, chemical processes, etc.).
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Mohamad Nassereddine as the Coordinator of the Electrical & Communication Engineering Department. Dr. Nassereddine joins PU with rich academic and industrial experiences in Australia and UAE. Amongst the many projects that Dr. Nassereddine has worked on are: Big Data and Advanced Smart Grid Operation, Combined Wind & Solar Systems for Houses, and High Voltage Power System
